Our Design Process

How We Work

Working with a professional design team is exciting!

Sometimes, though, it can also be a bit intimidating.

Many of you may never have been through the process before. Understandably, you may be a bit nervous because you don’t know what to expect.

On the other hand, you may have had a bad experience in the past. Maybe you’re nervous because you’re worried about going through the same bad experience all over again.

Whatever the case, you can relax.

Our company has earned its reputation largely because we treat each client as if they’re our only one.

This means personalized attention and a custom approach.

Nonetheless, we’ll walk you through our basic framework now so you have some idea of what to expect. Of course, you feel free to contact us with any questions.

1. Discovery

We begin things with a pre-design questionnaire that helps us decide if we’re a good fit for you. It also goes a long way toward helping us understand your brand, the challenges you face, who’s in your market and what appeals to them, and your company’s overall goals.

After that, we’ll sit down for an actual conversation. This will give us an opportunity to ask any questions we have and for you to do the same. It’s important to us that we’re all on the same page before moving forward.

2. Proposal

If we’re a good fit for one another, we’ll send you a proposal with:
A timeline for the project:

  • The payment schedule
  • Term and Conditions
  • Deliverables

You’ll know exactly what to expect from this project before we ever begin designing.

3. Brainstorming

A lot of design companies leave their clients in the dark until the project is finally over.

At Graphic Blueprint, we know how important this project is to you, which is why we always make our clients part of the process.

We’ll give you a “mood board” you can use to collect ideas that inspire you. It’s online, so you don’t have to worry about doing any arts and crafts. Just surf the web and gather any images, designs, or entire websites you like – there is no limit!

Once this is done, we’ll use your mood board to come up with initial drafts for your project. You’ll be able to tell right away how much of a difference it makes to work this way.

4. Delivery

When you’re satisfied with our final draft, we’ll invoice you for the project and then release the design files.

That’s all there is to it!

Pricing

Our pricing is based on project and not by the hour. This way, you know exactly how much it will cost you upfront and don’t have to worry about any nasty surprises.

While every package will be priced based on your unique needs, they start at just $1,000. We require a 50% deposit at the time we sign the agreement. The rest can be paid in monthly installments or at the end of the project.

We can also charge you monthly installments and skip the deposit.

If you pay in full when we sign the contract, you’ll receive 10% off the total.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know that a lot of people have questions about high-end designs. Below, you’ll find the ones we hear most often, but if you have one that’s not down there, just fill out a contact form and we’ll respond ASAP.

I have never worked with a designer before. What do I need to get started?

Start with our pre-design questionnaire. Once that’s filled out, we can schedule a discovery meeting where we go over your unique needs and discuss how Graphic Blueprint can help.

How much do you charge?

We don’t have a flat rate because every job is different. For the same reason, we don’t charge by the hour, either.

Instead, once you fill out the questionnaire and we go through a discovery meeting, you’ll receive a quote for the entire job. This way, you’ll know exactly how much to budget for and don’t have to worry about unplanned costs popping up.

I don’t know have a lot of money to work with, but I really need some work done. Can you help me?

We have payment plan options that fit most budgets. Although it’s vital that you have high-end designs to help win customers and turn profits, we understand that money is often tight at the beginning. If we’re out of your budget now, please consider us later.

Do you design websites?

Absolutely! We use premade WordPress templates. Take a look at them beforehand to get a feel for what your site will look like when it’s done. Need a “Coming Soon” page while we’re working on your site? Not a problem! We can create that for you.

Do you handle printing?

We do! If you’re looking to have printed materials designed, we can also print them off for you when we’re done. Check out our list of printed materials.

How long will it take to get my printed materials?

We can accommodate most deadlines. However, the sooner you need it, the more we’ll have to charge.

What design software do you use?

Our team uses Adobe Creative Suite. This includes popular programs like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.
